Our Story
Hi, we're Ameina and Nathan. We started Wild Ophelia's, but we don't run it alone.
Ameina is where Wild Ophelia's started. She's the eye behind the racks, hunting down the finds, styling the mannequins, and showing up in the try-on videos so you can see how a piece actually looks on a real person. She set the warm, fun feel both shops are known for, and these days she's happiest watching our team carry it.
Nathan keeps the back end running. The website, the systems, the behind-the-scenes work, all so the people in our stores are free to focus on you. He's happiest behind the scenes, and that's exactly where he stays.
The real stars of Wild Ophelia's are our stylists. In Oak Harbor and Bellingham, they're the ones who greet you at the door, pull the pieces they know you'll love, and remember your name and your style when you come back. As owners, we're stepping back from the floor more and more, and honestly, the stores are better for it. The relationships our customers love are the ones our stylists are building every day. We'd rather put the spotlight on them than on us.
Our story, short version: ten years selling secondhand fashion online, first real store in 2024, now two, downtown Oak Harbor and Bellis Fair Mall in Bellingham, with the online shop coming back as our third store. None of it happens without the people in the stores.
